Hard to say
I dont really know if it’s good or bad. I can only assume it wasnt great, as my ferrets refused to eat it. To the point I had to go out and buy Marshals ferret food. They literaly let it sit in their bowl for two days. Had I not bought and gave them the Marshals food, it appeared the were ready to starve to death than eat this food. : (

Amazing product
So we we’re giving our ferrets Marshalls and it wasn’t really doing anything so we tried this brand to see what happened and we are currently using it with one other brand and both of them together are working amazing I can see a pic change in our ferrets their coats are shinier they’re actually starting to gain weight and they are totally full of 10 times more energy I would recommend this product to any ferret lover maybe a little bit higher on the price but if you love your babies then it’s worth it

PICKY FERRET LOVES IT!
I absolutely love this food for my Salem, he’s a SUPER picky eater. I have tried other ferrets food brands such as Wysong and Marshall’s and my ferret either didn’t finish it or just simply stopped eating it. I have to say I went to the vet concerned about his weight, they gave me a special kind of vet food but he did not like it whatsoever. I was so worried, I decided to give Zupreem a try. Salem immediately took to it. I have noticed he has more energy when playing, he gained weight, his coat looks so fluffy, shiny, and soft. PLUS!! he always finishes his food now. I recommend this food brand 100%. And the price for the amount of food you get is great too.

Healthy for our fur babies
We have two ferrets, both female and over one year of age. They are both a bit finicky, and I want them to eat only the most healthy food – so we don’t always see eye to eye on what they should be eating. I did a lot of research, and the ZuPreem Premium Ferret Diet is high in protein and is widely attributed to be the most healthy option. Our ferrets did prefer a more colorful food (which is why I gave the product 4/5 stars instead of 5/5) so they did try not to eat the food at first. But after they both tried it, they took to it quickly. Now they run to the food bowl every time we fill it. I have noticed an improvement in both of their coats, especially our sable. They have also put on a little weight, which is good because our sable was a bit on the small side. This is now our go-to ferret food, and I don’t foresee changing that anytime in the near future. I do wish I could find it sold locally, but with Amazon Prime and a little planning it really isn’t a big deal.

Great food! My vicious little terror loves it.
My ferret loves this food. It is however very moisture reactive. So if your critter likes to drink before every few bites like mine. Don’t put to muck in the bowel. I have to clean the bowl every day and sometimes twice to get the wet food out. It is well worth it though. 5th food I have tried and by far her favorite.

A Good Balance Between Quality and Cost
My ferrets LOVE this food, especially compared to Vita Prima. And my three ferrets are very picky- they won’t eat raw food or treats.With Vita Prima, it was all diarrhea- and the moment they started ZuPreem, their stools became more firm and even had fewer accidents outside the litter box/es. I highly recommend this ferret food for those who can’t shell out for Wysong.

Great food for your fur babies!
This food works great for our fur babies. They seem to prefer this food over any other kind we have tired. It also has more protein than some others like the Marshall food so that’s good. It seems to better quality as well. I would recommend this food to anyone that has ferrets. Good value as well.

My ferrets love this and only eat this!
This is the first ferret food I considered for my pets! I spent time in the pet store comparing ingredients and price. I am really cost conscious and this seemed healthier than the more expensive products. I have mixed in other brands and my ferrets won’t eat anything else (maybe because they grew up on it). Great price on amazon, too! I have heard that it makes their feces smell worse but since I use it exclusivity, I can’t comment on that. It is high in protein, so I rather their poops be stinky if they live longer tho! They don’t have long life spans as it is!

This is the only food I found for my ferret nibbler that he will eat. When I first got him he refused the forst 4 different foods I offered and the 5th which was this is what he preferred. He is very happy with it.

Buy this one! I highly recommend it.
SO- we did the homework for you. I researched a lot of different foods and have tried a few different ones. I can tell you that this is the best food for your ferrets nutritionally and amazon seems to be the best price on it as well. Our ferrets all have loved it and even our cat eats some sometimes. Haha.This food is perfectly formulated and I definitely will keep my ferrets on it. I even use Zupreem for my canary. He loves their food!

My ferret loves it!
My ferret really seemed to enjoy this food. I’m sad because my boyfriend purchased a bag of Marshell food when we ran out, so we are trying to get rid of that first but honestly, I think I may just donate it and buy a food she enjoys. She doesn’t really care for the Marshell brand and eats the cat food instead when she is out playing. Overall, I was satisfied and will purchase this again soon.

Great for our ferrets
Our 2 ferrets have been on this food for about a little over 2 weeks and they love it! I switched them from a lower quality kibble they had been eating previously. They took a few days to transition mixing their old food with the new but now they are both on this food exclusivley. In the future I may try and give them variety in their diet but for now they seem to do just fine on this. I love that it is a higher quality food for them that is also affordable!

So much better than Marshall’s.
This is a good food. No, not the best. But my ferrets are doing so much better on this than that Marshall stuff. With feeding ferrets, quality does pay off in the long run in terms of vet visits. I get this bag, which is twice the size of the bags I used to get at Petco for $7 more! I can’t afford Wysong–yet. But this price for their regular food may allow me to cut in Wysong. My ferrets are all healthy on this. Good weights, coats, demeanor. If you’re on Marshall’s, make the transition to this. At this price, it works.

Very very good.
My 2 ferrets are rescues. After about 6 weeks on this food, both their coats changed colors to a deep rich cinnamon. Nothing else changed. You truly are what you eat. This is the second brand I tried on Amazon and I’m sticking with it. They also like the taste.

Don’t stink?
My ferret has always acted like she’s better than everyone else. Now, I’m starting to wonder because…Her shit don’t stink!In all seriousness though. I’m very happy with this food, and so is she. I’ve tried Kaytee, Marshall’s and Wysong. I was happiest with Kaytee, but the cheapy brand worries me. Wysong gave horrible loose stool. Marshall’s made her urine and stool smell HORRIBLE, and she gained weight. She loves the taste of the Zupreem. I blended it over a couple days and NO digestion issues. As for weight gain, can’t comment yet. May update later.5+ stars.

Great value for a healthier ferret diet.
This was a great find. My ferrets love this food and are much healthier with it. I was able to buy their food in 7lbs bags before, but the food was not great for them and I was frustrated because I could only find Zupreem in 4lbs bags. Then I found these 8lbs bags and it’s totally worth it. You really can’t beat the price.

Veterinarian giving thumbs up !
I’m a small animal veterinarian but had never owned my own pet ferrets until last year. This food is one of the top 2-3 recommended in the veterinary community as being “the best”. Ferret medicine is tricky. Their lifespans are shorter than we’d all like and nutrition is one of the few things owners can control! So, I think it’s well worth the money. This food was readily accepted, doesn’t make for extra stinky ferrets or ferret poop. I’ve been very pleased .
