    The fish love it!

    I’m rating the flavor and scent based on the reaction of the fish – not personal experience. The fish apparently do scent the oil in the product – the zoom right to the surface and gobble up the flakes. I have a 30,000 gallon swimming pool converted to a pond with hundreds of gold fish inside. They must mostly survive on algae. These flakes add some variety to their diet.

     I have been using this food for my fancy goldfish in my pond for the last 3 plus years and they love it. I also use the Tetra goldfish floating pellets. I go through at least 3 buckets during feeding season to feed my 22 fish in my pond. Food is always fresh.

    Look at the price of a little can of this at your local pet supply and see what your paying per ounce ?Than look at what you pay per ounce in bulk with this large bucket ? Its so much cheaper, lasts me a few years, that I can’t justify buying any other way any more. Have two water gardens with goldfish, koi, and occasionally other surface feeders

    Makes My Gold Fish Come Swimming to the Top of the Tank!

    I’ve tried different brands of Fish Flakes but TETRA is the brand they love the most, when I give them another brand they can tell it’s not their beloved TETRA FLAKE. They will only take TETRA from my hand, everything else they swim away to the bottom. If I hold a few TETRA Flakes they will take it from my hand with glee and fervor. TETRA is hard to find on the shelves in my area, so it’s fortunate that I can order my finned pals their favorite food by the bucket load! 5*****Stars!
