The smell and feel of this hay is very fresh and the guinea pigs love it. It is compressed into the bag so when you try to use it and get some out, it makes a huge mess but thats really the least of worries. You get quite a large amount and is definitely less expensive than buying at a pet store

The only downside to the size is the fact that it is very very tightly packed. It is very hard to get out by the handful. But it smells wonderful very fresh. Very nice looking and a very good product.

Seemed like a good value and a manageable amount… I used to buy in bulk .(like 45lbs+).. but that was a bit unwieldy for my space… I mention the Flavor question in the headline because they asked it on Amazon review… but I have only tasted it now… and it is rather bland, very crunchy, I do not personally care for it… would not buy it for my self, so for humans, I would rate it as 1 star… but it is as I expect hay to be… My Bunny seems to be very excited about it… so I will defer to him …. as he is the end consumer and why I’m buying it. Sir Louie Fluffykins has no complaints that he has brought to my attention… he thinks it’s the Bees Knees.

I didn’t need anywhere near this much hay for my tortoise, but this bag was the best value for the money, which is why I bought it. I was really surprised how much I received when I opened the box. This would be great for someone with multiple pets!

Guinea pigs love this hay. Great value. The hay is packed very well and can be hard to pull out, and it’s sharp! I got a hay splinter and learned my lesson to wear gloves!!

My bunnyis very picky doesn’t really like to munch on grass prefer the pellets. When I switch to oxbow brand he loves it he would be munching on it all the times and is vet recommended.
