1. This thermometer is specially designed for animals measurement and has a mechanism for applying infrared rays.
Due to the difference in radiant heat between humans and animals, huge errors will occur if they are used to test the temperature of the human body.
2. After starting up, it is recommended to wait 10-15min (machine preparation), so that the next temperature measurement will be more accurate.
3. Pay attention to select the corresponding mode, the mode of measuring the dog’s body temperature is: Body Mode
4. Place the thermometer close to the inside of the pet’s ear and remove the hair to ensure that the measurement is correct. Measuring distance needs to be 3-5cm, too far or too close will affect the temperature reading.
5. It is reasonable for the measurement error to be within +/-0.4°F~+/-0.6°F, and take the reading with the most occurrences as the final reading.
