PetAg Goat’s Milk Esbilac Powder can also be used to nurture post-surgery or older dogs and rehabilitate wildlife, including squirrels, rabbits, and opossums. Every purchase comes with one 5-pound canister of Esbilac Goat’s Milk Powder milk replacer. PetAg, Inc. provides pet owners and animal professionals with the most effective pet products, including milk replacers, nutritional and health supplements, and grooming supplies. Directions for Mixing: Gently shake or stir one part of powder into two parts of warm water (a part is a teaspoon, tablespoon, or cup.) Do not mix more powder than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Reconstituted powder should be refrigerated. Directions for Feeding: All puppies should receive their mother’s milk for at least 2 days, if possible. Colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some infections. Warm reconstituted powder to room or body temperature before serving. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of liquid powder per 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies’ needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Young and/or weak puppies may need to be fed reconstituted powder every 3 or 4 hours. Older puppies do well when fed reconstituted powder every 8 hours.
